Well it came and went faster than I ever imagined…Teagan’s first Christmas! She had a great time and we did too. Her grandparents had the best time spoiling her with presents and she loved putting on a show while opening everything!
Having a baby during Christmas really puts into perspective why we come together to celebrate this magical holiday. Family, love, and being thankful for what we have. The presents are just the icing on the cake…and Teagan sure loved the icing! ; )
Here are some of the highlights…
So we started Christmas Eve with Teagan wearing her “super fancy” dress. Isn’t it cute?! The entire outfit is from Target. She also had matching gold shoes, but wanted nothing to do with them…
Two minutes later this happened. The princess was not digging her “super fancy” dress. As a mommy to a little diva I always come prepared…good thing I had back up!
Much better! She really seemed to like the tutu…we may have a future dancer on our hands.
This year we hosted. Look at this yummy spread!
After her grandparents arrived Teagan was ready to dig into the presents. (I can’t get over the cute ruffle butt!)
Sitting patiently with daddy.
She somehow knew these were all for her…
One of her favorite presents was her bouncing/walking elephant.
Another favorite…her new chair. She didn’t hesitate to climb right into it!
“What do I do now that I am in this thing?”
“Daddy, can you help me down please?”
She also loved her rocking Hippo!
Sharing her bow with Hippo. 🙂
We saved a few presents from Santa for Christmas morning.
She loved day two of presents!
Santa brought her bath toys and she had to chew on each one!
She had the most fun with the tissue paper of course!
I think Berkley was over not being the center of Teagan’s attention.
Teagan is always coming after our cell phones, so Santa brought her one of her own.
“Stop bugging me mom I’m texting my baby friends.”
This year Christmas exceeded my expectations. It was a great first Christmas for Teagan filled with laughter and a lot of love.
